Sister’s Amanda Wasey joins Merman Television as Head of Production.

Having worked with Amanda Wasey for many years, Nationwide TV & Film Location caterers Chorley Bunce are delighted to hear the news that  Sharon Horgan and Clelia Mountford’s UK production company Merman Television has appointed Amanda Wasey as its new head of production.

Wasey will work closely alongside Merman’s senior leadership team, including the company’s co-founders Horgan and Mountford, MD Rebecca Parkinson and finance director Jackie Sidey, as well Faye Dorn, the company’s head of drama.

She will report to Parkinson and her remit will cover the development and production of Merman’s forthcoming shows, including the second season of Apple TV+’s Bad Sisters.

Prior to joining Sister, she worked as a freelancer in the film and TV industry for more than 30 years. Mountford said: “We’re delighted to be welcoming Amanda to the Merman team. Her experience in the entertainment industry, working across an array of acclaimed and award-winning series, and her dedication to production make her undoubtedly the right person for the role. We’re thrilled to have someone so passionate and experienced joining the company.”
